Decks & Fences

Customers often choose to have their decks washed in addition to a house wash, but can also be offered as a stand alone service. Deck and fence cleaning prices can vary significantly depending on the material of which they are made, the condition of it, and what the customer's desires are. Typically trex material is the easiest to clean, while full wood restoration is a bit more of a process.

Deck and fence pressure washing and soft washing are exterior cleaning methods used to restore and protect outdoor wood, vinyl, and composite surfaces. Over time, decks and fences collect dirt, mildew, algae, pollen, and weather stains that dull their appearance and can lead to surface damage. Proper cleaning removes these contaminants and helps extend the life of the materials.

Pressure washing uses high-pressure water to strip away built-up grime and loose debris. It is effective for durable surfaces and heavily soiled areas but must be handled carefully to avoid gouging wood or splintering boards. Soft washing, by contrast, relies on low-pressure water combined with specialized cleaning solutions to break down organic growth and stains. This method is safer for older wood, painted surfaces, and delicate materials.

When done correctly, both methods improve appearance, prepare surfaces for staining or sealing, and help prevent long-term deterioration caused by moisture and biological growth.
